Importing InDesign (IDML) files

Pressable parses IDML (InDesign Interchange) files directly in the browser. From the dashboard, choose Import → IDML and select your .idml file. Styles, master pages, anchored frames, and colour swatches come across.

Fonts are matched against the library automatically. If a font isn't available, you'll see a remap dialogue where you can pick a substitute for each missing typeface before the document opens.

Images are relinked on first open. You can bulk-upload the links folder from your InDesign project, or Pressable will flag missing links with a clickable relink prompt in the editor.
