PDF/X-1a and PDF/X-4 export

Choose File → Export → PDF. Pick PDF/X-1a for a flattened, print-safe file, or PDF/X-4 when you want to keep transparency live. Both options embed the CMYK working profile you set on the document.

Bleed, slug, and crop marks are controlled from the export dialogue. Values are in millimetres by default; type in inches or points if that's your unit.

Exported PDFs include full metadata: title, author, and the Pressable document ID so pre-press can trace a file back to its source.
